Not blockbusters. Hardly even good movies. Especially in the spectrum of Marvel movies - Incredible Hulk was the worst tie in to the Avengers.

Im calling Leaves of Grass, Pride and Glory, Down in the valley, stone, the Painted Veil. It might just be easier to say any movie hes made in the past 10 years.

The Bourne Legacy looks to be the most interesting roles hes done in the past decade aside from his great glorified cameo in Moonrise Kingdom.

Buzzman - Nothing said changes the fact he has not been a lead actor in a hit nor been nominated for an Oscar. No actor alive has non stop hits. But JGL has ZERO. Noones downplayed his potential so what on earth is the big deal.
I don't think were arguing the same thing. I was arguing that the poster said JGL wont ever win an Oscar in a drama role. I'm not talking box office with JGL. His track record clearly shows he is on the brink of becoming a well respected name in Hollywood, if he hasn't already. He's in the same spot Ryan Gosling was in 5 years ago. The juicy roles and films are just going to keep coming.

Will Smith doesn't have Oscar cred and do big numbers at the box office?

His role in Moonrise Kingdom is far from a cameo. Even so, he is probably the best part of the whole movie.

                            Oh.
"Oscar cred" ..? He was nominated for Ali and the Pursuit of Happyness. The former is actually a good movie with a good performance. The latter is a fucking joke of a movie and nomination. He's pathetic now - his future consists of what-if sequels of mediocre movies and a circle jerk between him, his son and M Night Shayamalan.

Sure, he is/was a box office draw and entertaining as hell, but that's as far as it goes. People went to see MiB3 because his name was attached to it, but Josh Brolin was the reason why the movie was tolerable at best.

Future? Thought we were talking about the past. You are the one bringing up Tom Hanks like it's 1997 and shit.
