What program do you use to listen to music?

Padman mentioned he uses foobar2000 in an Arcade thread, and I've been thinking about switching of late. I'm currently using iTunes 11, and have been since I made the jump from WinAmp way back when. I was going to go back to WinAmp and then read this article on Ars and kind of put me off (http://arstechnica.com/business/2012...-undid-itself/)

I'll likely still need iTunes to sync my iPhone, so whatever program I switch to would have to have some pretty sexy features. Thoughts?

And I'll save Relaxed the trouble of telling us we're all morons and need to be spinning vinyl on a sweet turntable.

iTunes all the way. I don't have an iPhone, just an iPod Classic 160 GB (which only has about 17 GB's free now). I refuse to upgrade too. Seems like every other day there is a new update for iTunes so I just stopped updating at iTunes 10.4. Heard iTunes 11 changed a lot of things and I really like the way I have my music set up right now all nice and sorted with all it's info and covers (23,571 songs of pure nerdy sorted gold).

I'm not telling you to upgrade, but I really like iTunes 11. I own a 120GB iPod Classic and an iPad. Every so often, I consider getting an iPod Touch, but have never done it.

Spotify is what it's all about. Full albums for free and no downloading.

That's what I like about Rdio (we don't get Spotify in Canada) ... you can listen to albums without downloading or buying. It only costs $5 a month. No big deal.

When I know what I want to listen to and have it on my hard drive, I'll use iTunes. I love the look of 11.

When I'm unsure of what I want to listen to or just want to go through music I don't have on my computer, then I'll use Spotify. This works really well if there's an album out that I haven't listened to and don't want to DL the leak.

When people on here like Fed, NAHSTE, Brink, Rudi and crew are interested in Turntable, then I'll use that.

When I want to listen to something random or if I'm in the office and am playing music for everyone to enjoy, then I'll use Songza.

When I have a long road trip ahead of me and don't want to listen to any of my CDs or the music on my iPhones, then I'll use Pandora.

So basically, I use them all. :lefty:

iTunes 11 is pretty cool, but I like using VLC a lot because of its equalizer but the look of it is horrible. I can't find another program with an equalizer just as good though..
