My new music listening has taken a hit this year. I'll have to go through my music later this week to see what's a 2012 release. I listen to classic/oldies more than anything.

I'll be creating an attention-seeking thread for my top 15 just like last year. Really was satisfied with this year in music, especially considering how slow it was coming out of the gate.

This is just based off a Wikipedia list. I am sure if I went back and looked there are probably more 2012 releases that I really liked. Alt-J probably got the most plays of these listed, followed by Divine Fits (love Wolf Parade, so Wolf Parade + Spoon = win) and the Shins

Out of those Baby Bafe Killa is my #1, Alchemist Russian Roulette is 2 and KRino's is 3. Then there are a few recent releases I havent spinned enough to list but like what I have heard in my limited time with em. Wu Block, Alchemist and Action bronsons Rare Chandeliers, Styles Worlds Most Harder MC just to name a few.
