Forgot about that Alchemist album. Ridiculous album...changed it up every minute and a half.

    Good shit.

El Camino was released in 2011, you guys.

I'll be making an in-depth post of my albums sometime during winter break.

Damn good shout wit that Krit album.

Also I thought Killer Mikes Album was very fucking awesome.

Thought I would see a bit more love for Gary Clarke Jr.

I don't listen to that much music to be honest. But, in no particular order, these artists were more prevalent than others on my playlist from this year:

Wiz Khalifa - O.N.I.F.C. I know this just came out, I don't care, CD is legit.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city.

                The Killers - Battle Born

                Mumford & Sons - Babel

                  Wiz Khalifa

Games album is pretty good too but it will take more spins to determine if its AOTY material.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of dude but I'm really loving this album. The beats are hot, the iffy guest spots came through (not iffy as in all of them were iffy, moreso singling out guys like Wayne and crew), Game's not biting rappers' styles so evidently and he cut the filler that really hurt The R.E.D. Album last year.

I still can't believe that cover art is for a legitimate, sold-in-stores album. It looks like some random Lil B mixtape cover.

2012 has been more a year of the EP rather than the LP.

I've got a stack of excellent singles, mini-albums and EPs here but not very much in the way of proper albums; so for the first time ever I may struggle to come up with a top 10 album list.

I'll revisit this thread after my post-Christmas spending spree and see what I can do then otherwise it may have to be a "Top 10 Releases of 2012" list.

2013 seems to be shaping up to be very interesting though, particularly in the world of surf-rock.
                        Z(u, w) = Z0(w)[1-exp{-b(w)u}]

...and she said "Well I don't think you're a fishmonger. I think you've done a plop in the wrong lavatory."

I haven't listened to enough 2012 music but here are my picks

Tame Impala - Lonerism (best album in a few years imo)

                          Jack White - Blunderbuss

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!

                          Grizzly Bear - Shields

Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel

                          Japandroids - Celebration Rock

I was disappointed in Babel, The 2nd Law (seriously only like two good songs on this album, wtf Muse), Some Nights (the same band that did Aim & Ignite did this piece of trash?), and The Seer.

I thought it was a mixtape too, didnt know it was an actual album until a few days ago.
