To be honest I'd spent all night before that last message drinking and watching Kutosis and Future of the Left; a combination likely to induce more vitriol than usual to be spewed at the likes of Mumford and Sons.

Anyway, I'm not getting in the whole mainstream artists discussion again as we've never been able to find an adequate definition of the word to set the parameters. However I will say that for various professional reasons I have been over exposed to Mumford and Sons, Adele and The Killers over the past 18 months and they now all occupy a special place of loathing in my heart.
