Have no real problem with Loki being in every Thor movie but then feature him in the Avengers movies is a bit overkillComment

I see your point, but that one instance made sense because it didn't require a villain to be set up and introduced - there was so much background and posturing they had to cover with just the main heroes. We all knew who Loki was already. I don't know if this is the logic they used, but I guess we'll find out when Avengers 2 rolls around.[REDACTED]Comment

Just saw it, really liked it. It felt quick, it spent a lot of time on Asgard, the fights were fun, and the post cred scene gave me my typical Marvel boner (there are two, make sure to stay for both). My wife had a lady boner for Thor the whole time, so if you need a reason to take wives/GF's, there it is. Loki/Thor dynamic was as good as always, I enjoyed Thor's adventures on Earth and Rene Russo was pretty bad ass.
I'm sure others will come in and take a much more critical eye, but I'm a Thor fan. This movie tickled all the spots I want tickled. As a fan, I do wish we'd seen more of the Warriors Three and Sif. Volstagg needed to be CGIed fatter. They made a weight joke or two, but he just seemed like a tall guy, not the obese guy he is in the comics. Hogun also spent most of an already small role away from the other Warriors. Seemed weird. Sif was around, but not the strong fleshed out character she becomes in Journey Into Mystery.
Regardless. Those are small complaints.
And that post cred scene. Marvel does things

Need some more people to see this so we can discuss. Though like most Marvel movies, the discussion may be best suited for a thread about a different movie...Comment
