The pilot was intriguing, not perfect ... but, to be fair, I felt Breaking Bad started slow too. Breaking Bad was a great premise that needed time to turn into a great show, maybe Ray Donovan is the same.

It's only a nice comparison if Ray Donovan turns out as great or close to Breaking Bad. BB needed time to find itself, hopefully Ray Donovan is the same. Oddly, both Dexter and LOST hit their peaks in season 1 and could never recapture those highs (those Dexter came close in the John Lithgow season).

This season was all over the place. It bounced around like a basketball.

But...fuck it...it was entertaining.

Now that they've establish characters, maybe they can make a coherent plot. There are enough likable characters on the show to make it work.
