I'm a huge fan of this show. Was the Tuesday water cooler show to talk about, since Monday was always breaking bad.

What isn't to love. Liev doing his thing, Jon Voight is just a beauty in this, and James Woods is a badass, and just getting started.

All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Ray is a fucking boss. He's just a straight up, cool character...but he's not too cool or too perfect...still very flawed.

His workers are the best characters though...Manny from Scarface and Lesbian Secretary are great. This show is coming back and the show should focus more on Ray and his workers getting shit done.

Jon Voight was the perfect old scumbag trying to make good. He had some great lines and some good parts...toward the end there, I thought his character struggled, but in the finale, when he told Ray "I did twenty years for you!"...it was a great moment and made me forget the recent lackluster shit from the past few episodes.

Bunchy and Terry as well as Black Brother are good secondary characters. They gave them perhaps a little too much to do this season, but I'll live.

The rest of this large as fuck cast could fuck right off...especially wife and kids...Abby Donovan looking to fit right in as chief cunt on TV now that Skylar is going bye bye after next week. The kids could very well put "kids" to shame as annoying pieces of shit going forward.

Focus more on Ray's fixer gimmick going forward is my strongest suggestion...I think it is where this show should be at its core. The last half of the season struggled to stick with it.

I don't get the point of killing Sully so quickly in the series. I thought he would be a big thing, but he was around for like 5 episodes and did nothing but kill a few worthless characters. They make this big deal about him, and then... nothing. Plus also, it is James fucking Woods playing him. I wanted to see him around for awhile.

I got the vibe that they made this season and left it just as a stand alone...if they got picked up, awesome. If not...they told a story with a beginning, middle, and end.
