    I don't listen to modern day "RnB/Soul"...

because generally it's pretty gay. Guys singing songs about other guys and pretending they're about girls.

I can however, get jiggy with this. Heard them on the radio the other day.

Real R&B/Soul died a long time ago. For me, the high point was the 70s. The singing, songwriting and musicianship was light-years ahead of today's rhythmless bullshit.

John Legend just dropped a new album not too long ago. Also The Weeknd deserves a listen.

Pretty much sums up my feelings.

Chi-Lites, Stylistics, Dramatics, Main Ingredient, Spinners, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Earth, Wind & Fire, plus the Motown artists and all the great FUNK bands from that era too. And of course one of my all-time favorites, the legendary Curtis Mayfield.

What the hell happened to the music???? (I guess you could say that about other genres too)

Weekend is shit. Fucking murders my ears with that high pitched crying.
