And it's fan-fucking-tastic. Least on the first listen through (deluxe version as well). I like how he brings in a few elements of the first LP (but doesn't over do it). The variety of the album is great and personally my favorite song thus far is "So Far..." which is a cover of Joe Walsh's "Life's Been Good". Plenty of the classic comedic Em lines, sprinkled in with some seriousness. I know I've only listened to it once, but I personally think it's up there as one of his best albums just in the way he's grown.

The production is pretty awful throughout the album, as are the hooks. Em's actually rapping solidly on this, but I don't want to go back to listening to this after one run-through just because of the shitty beats and generic pop hooks.

Beats are shitty. It sounds like he is rapping over shitty fake instruments.

Cartoonish beats behind aggressive and fast paced rapping doesn't work.

Lyrically, he is creative but not enough to over ride the beats.

Not my style...wish he would just go back to rapping and stop trying to be so different.

Groundhog Day from the deluxe edition is the best song on the album. It's the only one I keep going back to.

Kendrick's really the only feature. The others are mostly doing the hooks.

I gave it a few listens...man...it might be his worst album. The samples and production really kill it for me...despite Em's lyricism coming back around, the production side really drags this album down for me.
