It is a complex morality play with so many layers and intertwined realities that giving it a constant "central theme" does the show no justice and belittles its topic.
The minute you say something being central...like...the show is about "change"...you can immediately go in another direction and say the show focuses on redemption or it is the story of the bruised moral compass. There is just so much there, narrowing it down seems to simplify it when the shows scope is much wider.Comment
