    List w/ images.

*Metallica - Metallica (The Black Album)

-I've listened to better but you never forget your first Metal album.

*Jimmie's Chicken Shack - Bring Your Own Stereo

    -High School.

*Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace

    -College.

*Kanye West - The College Dropout

-I only listened to bad rap-rock, pop-rock, metal and Top 40 before this dropped.

Then Mr. West showed me what the Mid-West is...

*The Darkness - Permission To Land
    *Wolfmother - Wolfmother
*Airbourne - No Guts. No Glory.

-Tied on the merits of their influences.

Hair Metal, Pop Rock, Heavy Metal, Rock...

Screams AC/DC on all counts but I can remember more tunes off of these records than I can of the older catalogue.

Whenever I need a jam, I put one of these three on.

I actually started listening to Meteora and then Hybrid Theory. Both are great albums, but Linkin Park has really fallen off from this point.

Love Ghost Reveries, but I prefer Blackwater Park personally. Love Gojira as well.

So blink-182 has been listed 3 times and not by me. I am torn between feeling ashamed of myself and proud of VSN.

I didn't know Blink 182 was that popular.

Absolutely. Like most people I stopped listening to them after those two albums. In hindsight Hybrid Theory was probably a bad choice in terms of defining what I listen to now, but I don't think I've ever listened to an album more times from start to finish. That has to count for something. I didn't own many CDs around that time (3rd grade or so) so it stayed in rotation for years.

BTW, I skimmed through some Machine Head songs on Spotify after seeing them on your list. Not bad.

Hybrid Theory and Meteora are two different albums. They cannot be compared.
