    X-Men

DoFP was dope as hell. That Quicksilver scene was one of the coolest fucking things I've ever seen. Michael F. Assbender is the greatest man alive. Bryan Singer can smang all the underage twinks he wants as long as we get more X-Men movies like this. #wat

Apocalypse comin', so nerds what's going down next movie? What'd you think of DoFP?

Spoderman is hands down the best super hero movie this year though. That's what I read on vsn.

Im very curious to see if they go with an Age of Apocalypse alternate timeline story. Also if ben foster doesnt come back it will be an injustice

Just to expand...whenever you get into time travel, you run into paradox's and theorems that eat away at the sense of a film. I'll try to ignore the continuity errors here, too, as they are trying really hard to ditch The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Two obvious duds.

They are taking the concept of JJ Abrams Star Trek, as its not a re-boot or re-imagining, but a 'clearing the table' of the canon. It doesn't ignore it...it actually embraces the past films, it just goes to great lengths to disregard them going forward. If not for The Last Stand and the Origins film, this franchise is really really good, but there is a real stench hanging over the franchise because of them, making this film almost necessary.

With that said, it was #fun. Jumped right into the action and story. Like Kevin said, not too many easter eggs. But I did enjoy the line from Quicksilver to Magneto..."So...you can manipulate metal?...My mom knew someone like that!"...Quicksilver had some of the better parts of this film and that was one of them. Also, saw some of Scarlet Witch as well.

Post-credit scene is fine...just not too revealing.

Seeing this at 6 pm. Wasn't expecting too much from this at first but the reviews have been impressive.

Just wished the crew would've all worked together a little longer, it was definitely the strongest part of the film. I thought they were gonna be more united against a strong common enemy. It was a little silly the way they were fighting each other and letting their own incompetence create the conflict. How hard is it for Xavier and Magneto to stop Mystique? Seems like those three were dumbed-down a bit to make it work.

IMO, it all goes back to when Xavier said that Wolverine needed to bring them together when they couldn't be more further apart. It'd seem a little weird if they'd work together and unite when history shows they are supposed to be the strongest of enemies for the next 50 years regardless of the outcome of this film.

I really cannot believe that Michael Fassbender and James Mcavoy actually are in this series. They are way too good, but obviously the series is all the more better for it. Its crazy how things work. After First Class I really loved X-Men as a franchise and then The Wolverine comes out and its like these suck. Then Days of Future Past basically pulls a Star Trek and sets up this "we can now do whatever the fuck we want" alternate timeline and fixes all previous problems and sets itself up to succeed. Its impressive for the series to still be around and kicking when the movies are so wildly inconsistent.

You also have Academy Award winner, Jennifer Lawrence, too.

Worst part about X-Men: Days of Future Past is J-Law basically taping her tits down. No natural droopage, no bouncy-bouncy, no nothing.

Tiniest bit of deetz on the next film, X-Men: Apocalypse, also to be directed by Bryan Singer. Writer Simon Kinberg said, "It will focus primarily on the 'First Class' cast," he says, "but it will certainly have some of the original cast involved, too." "

Moar Assbender, McAvoy, and Lawrence is perfect.
