I thought he hit Watchmen out of the park, that was a great adaptation.

Yeah but that is Watchmen though. He pretty much went panel for panel. With these new DC movies much of the material is being made for the movies with inspiration form the comics, not a true adaptation like Watchmen.

I thought Man of Steel had some great action shots and visuals but the story and plot was weak. For a character that was supposed to represent hope the ending was really depressing and not what super man is supposed to be.

300 was an average adaptation. Some things were just weird.

The flick with the girls with swords and mechs was meh. Great trailer though.

WB really fucked up the DCEU, didn't they? Trying to create a universe in two movies was not the way to go.

I liked Suicide Squad for all its faults and Wonder Woman was obviously pretty good. The others were terrible. Especially the shit sandwich that was Justice League.

I hate this rumor of Michael B Jordan playing Superman. Great fucking actor but unless they go the Injustice route he's going to be wasted as Superman.

I actually liked Ben Affleck as a bitter, gritty Dark Knight in BvS (the scene where he rescues Martha is totally badass), but then he's cracking jokes in Justice League. WB has no clue.

What did you think of the Aquaman & SHAZAM! trailers?

Well visually speaking Aquaman looks like Shark Tales. But story-wise it looks messy, like they'll be trying to cram too many things into the movie.
SHAZAM looks really silly.

But I'm not a comic book film guy anyway. All I've seen so far from the DCEU is Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad (entirely for Margot Robbie).

I hate to say it but the DC characters as a whole just aren't really that interesting to me. They are all way too powerful and godlike(Batman being the exception but he's a different story altogtether).

DC animated movies are easily far better than their marvel counterparts.
