I'm in a 12 team league on Yahoo and my team is hurting.

I'm in 1st still, somehow, but need everyone to stop getting hurt.

I can't decide whether or not to spend a #6 waiver on Wilkin Ramirez or Jesus Guzman...or neither...it's a 16-team 30-man keeper league...and I wanted to maybe use my waiver position to move up to the #1 waiver to grab Strasburg if he comes up late in the season.

Also, I know if I don't use a waiver on them, the guy at the very back of the waiver order will so I won't be able to nab them in the middle of the night if they become FA's.

And on top of that, I don't know who I would drop. I already have my bench filled with N/A guys for the future (Towles, Carlos Gonzalez, Wieters) plus two starting pitchers...and there's really nobody bad enough to drop off my team besides Josh Anderson or Ramon Santiago.

damn, a keeper league and no minor league roster? thats rough. i would hold onto your priority, but that's just me

I just traded Wandy Rodriguez and Chad Qualls for Carlos Lee and Daisuke Matsuzaka

My current outfielders are Johnny Damon, Jason Bay, Jake Fox and Manny Ramierez, so with not knowing if Jake is an every day player I needed an outfielder bad.
My closers are K-Rod and Papelbon, so losing Qualls isn't that big of a deal and plus I am thinking of picking up Mike Gonzalez.
My starting pitchers are Doc Halladay, Erik Bedard and Johnny Cueto, so I have room to sell Wandy high and take a chance on Daisuke turning his year around.
Do you think I made out good in this trade?

I'd say you did alright. I'm of the saves are overrated camp so anytime you can turn a reliever into a position player you're making out positive.

However Wandy is tough to give up, he's having a great year. I still think overall you can say Wandy is a bit better than Dice-K but Carlos >>>>>> Qualls. So I'd say a positive.

I cant decide whether to start McCutchen or Ankiel and I'm wondering if i could trade Wright for another IF and a star OF., I've been struggling to get HRs as of late.

Ok, so this week I played against a guy who had:

Manny Ramirez (grand slam, 2 homers)
Justin Morneau (2 homers, 7 RBI in one game)
Mark Buehrle (perfect game)
Justin Verlander (basically a complete game shut out)

I'm still tied 6-6-2, and if I didn't somehow put Marmol on the bench today I'd be up 7-6-1 Did I mention my team has had a bad week?
