    Cincinnati Reds

Seriously MM was loaded with Reds fans and there is not one thread here for them.

So whats everyone thinking about the season so far, Over achieving?

no doubt this is the best pitching staff the Reds have had since the at the very least the 80's if not 61.

I wish Joey Votto would get back to 100% so he can be in the lineup everyday, even playing messed up he bombs 2 on Saturday.

tough break about Phillips he was just starting to hit.

win 1st series vs Cleveland, have good chance at Ohio cup again this year

Votto and Phillips should be back for good by tomorrow. Once that happens then this team is going to be really dangerous. I really think if the pitching holds up then they can take the Central this year.

#1 Mike Lincoln sucks balls, I knew last year was all luck, and he proves it.

#2 WTF is up with this team, Votto is on 15 day DL for personal reasons, now Volquez coming back after back spasms leaves after one inning with numbness in his pinky finger.. what about of pansy's, just 4 days ago this team was on the edge of getting into 1st place, then they drop 3 straight in Milwaulkee and are well on their way to drop thier 4th straight.

Takes the ball every start, gives you 200+ innings, always wins around 15 games, steady and dependable. Won't go to the hall of fame, but is a solid guy who would make any rotation in the league.

He throws one or two absolute stinkers every year where he gets bombed and can't get out of the second. Artificially inflates his ERA. He's also the king of guy that pitches to the scoreboard. If he's up 5-0, he pitches to put the ball in play and trusts the 7 gloves behind him.

There is nothing not to like. He'll win 15+ games again, and never miss a start.

                  Memo to Reds fans:

                  Your pitching fucking blows.

Cant even hold a goddamn 5-0 lead. FML for ever betting on Cinci.

                    That's a gambler talking.

Reds pitching has been outstanding. Good young starters, and the bullpen has been lights out.

If Reds had any offense, they'd be 5 games up.

Our offense is god awful. I looked a few days ago, when the Cubs fired their hitting coach...we had a worse team BA than they did. Thats how bad it is. Votto needs to come back, and as much as I hate to say it, we would really use EE too. No one on this team can produce on a regular basis. Thank god our pitching has been incredible so far.

Bronson continues to impress in Toronto, after saying it won't be as bad as it was a year ago today, he was right, it was only almost as bad

What was the Toothpick thinking putting Stormy Weathers in there against Albert Pujols? Let's see, Pujols was 9/18 lifetime with two homers against Weathers. Whoops, make that 10/19 with three homers. And then to add insult to injury, Weathers gets the next two guys out. Maybe we should've walked Pujols. One run would've been better than four.

And how about that swing Phillips uncorked on that strikeout to end the game? Swung so hard, he blew out a poor kid's sparkler in West Virginia.
well lets hope that the Homer Bailey we have been waiting for has finally showed up.

                            how about that Arroyo?

                              lol @ Badrroyo.

anyway, I am all for getting the best guys up here, I would like to see Wood up, but more than anything right now we need to put Arroyo on the DL.

nothing to say about yesterdays game, i just hope it doesn't mean anything is wrong with Cueto.

good game tonight, looked rough to start, but 3-3 in the 9th with Votto on 3rd 1 out.

Votto continued his hitting streak, man this team looks so much better with him in the lineup.
