    Stars of the Game
    1. Brandon Phillips: 1/4, HR, 3 RBI, R After Votto gets ejected, he launches a three-run homer to get the Reds on the board.
    2. Homer Bailey: 7.1 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, BB, 4 K Bailey bounced back from the worst start of his career in LA to pick up his second win on the year.
    3. Jonny Gomes: 2/3, 2 HR, 2 RBI, 2 R Gomes is just proving that when healthy, he is a great power hitter. Five homers over the last seven games. I'll take it.

    Goat of the Game
Dusty Baker How the hell do you let your best player get tossed in the first inning??? Get you're fat ass out of that dugout and get yourself thrown out instead of Votto. That's the second time this year you didn't back up your best player on the field.
yeah if it had been Corey Patterson he would have jumped out of the dugout at warp speed, i honestly really don't like Dusty Baker, I don't think he is a horrible manager, i just think he is a terrible fit for this team

yeah I heard they were testing the waiver wire to see if Arroyo and Harang would clear.

too bad about Rolen, but really who cares this season is over anyway i think with the right moves and as long as the injury bug doesn't strike again next season I think they have a chance at playoffs

yeah typical Arroyo catches fire at the end of the season when there was nothing to play for, skewed his stats so it looked like he had a good season when all his best pitching did nothing for the team, please dear god i want him out of here
