It was on Around The Horn but apparently a team can only sign 3 Type A free agents per offseason and CC, Burnett and Tex are all Type A along with Manny. We shouldn't have to worry about the Yankees getting Manny now.

As much as I am pissed about this situation, I have to admit Brian Cashman did an amazing job at signing all three free agents this off-season. It's not easy balancing all these big names and getting them to sign one after another.
