Yeah it'd be cool for awhile because obviously you wouldn't pay for meals or rent or anything but you couldn't do it long term, not a chance.
Would you play MLB for free?

Hell yeah what kind of question is that? The team would have to cover my insurance though I dont want to get beamed in the head with a 97 mph fastball and not be able to pay the expenses of the hospital[10-08, 21:30] JayDizzle An alligator will kill you the fuck deadComment

Play MLB for free? Yea I would, but I won't be naive. The game would have to be free, if I play for free, the franchise owners or MLB should not be making money either. TV networks don't get any money either.
Now none of that would happen, so I definitely want to make my share of the millions, when the league and owners are making 10x more.

This is a loaded question, especially after the whole "the team takes care of nothing" thing. How would I even DO that? I'd love to play MLB, but if the team isn't even giving me MEALS or a place to STAY? How would I live? Where am I getting the time to make the money on the side to continue existing? To keep my strength up? It's stupid.
I get the overall point, and that's why I think the idea of say, a tryout year where you play pro bono of sorts, meals, docs, rooms, etc...are covered: I'd do it. But to say "you get to play with the guys, but that's it"...that's insane.Comment
