      Especially if you look at the contract I detailed on the first page. He's going to have to be cut. Plain and simple.

        Cant Magglio file for grievance if he is cut? I dont know how that actually works but if he thinks it is a money situation then I think he can.

          I know he can if he gets sat when he gets close. I'm not sure about whether or not he can if they cut him. Listened to an interview with Leyland that despite Magglio's agent flipping out about team "loyalty" today, Magglio even agreed to the time off. They're also saying repeatedly that it's not actually a "benching" but giving him some time to get his shit back together.

            Serously, it's a good deal for both sides.

            Clearly Detroit dosen't want him around, and Cincy fans have turned on Bailey to the point he probably needs to go. He still has loads of potential.

            Magglio in a down year is a huge upgrade over Chris Dickerson & Lance Nix, and the Reds have zero offense (especially with Votto out).
