my opinion is that it was a fraud to help garner some publicity.
I heard it today on the Michael Kay show, He didn't name any names on that list in fear of being sued.

He did give a few hints pointing to Pedro though.

It can damn well be an accurate list, I mean do any of these names actually surprise you?.

Pedro probably was on something, along with 95% of dominican players just because the drug is so easy to obtain there and so many of the dominican players train with Angel Presinol. IMO I dont think this is the actual list. Would I be surprised if it was? No. But I dont believe the list is going to have so many big names. I think it will be more like the mitchell report where there were a some big names but more mediocre to average players that no one really cares about.

But if this indeed was the list I think it would definitely give some pitchers the opportunity to get into the hall of fame that before might not of had a good shot or would of had to wait a few years. Guys like Smoltz and Mussina who some people dont think are first ballot but since they had success in the steroid era could become first ballot hall of famers.

Agreed 100% - It's just so common in the Dominican Republic & all over the world for that matter. I personally would like for the MLB to "mysteriously" leak this "confidential" list that they're holding on to. It'll stop the media from creating all of this rubbish and reaching for a story hoping something would stick.

Honestly, I'm quite tired of all of this "Steroid Era" nonsense; Let's just go on with baseball. The game is relatively clean (Not including those non-detectable creams, pills etc etc). It's no secret it was used. But like the old saying goes. Quit beating a dead horse!.
