I guess its pretty accurate as far as starters go. With the exception of first base where you could make the case for all 4 of those players and with the third base position being so weak this year in the AL I could see Morneau, Texiera, Youkilis, and Cabrera making the team.

Hill and Kinsler are pretty close that'd probably be my only debate as I feel Kinsler is a way better overall hitter and has hit a few rough patches this year. Otherwise no HUGE disagreements.

        Aaron Hill: .301/.341/.504, 19 HR, 56 RBI
        Ian Kinsler: .263/.339/.513, 19 HR, 51 RBI

            Cano: .300/.332/.481, 12 HR, 42 RBI
            Pedroia: .291/.372/.386, 2 HR, 35 RBI

I'd go with Pedroia honestly. Cano has the better power numbers but Dustin's OBP puts him over the top for me.

              Thats such a solid team...

Hill deserves to be on the team.

.40 over? and that's the deciding factor? In that case, A-Rod should be playing in the All-Star game & Teixiera should be starting over Morneau.

Well if we wanted to include there averages with RISP it would show the Pedroia is much better in that category, but with that being said it is an all star game so Cano should be ahead of Pedroia because everyone looks at AVG, HR's, and RBI's and doesnt really care about someones average with RISP.

for some reason I can't find the RISP for either Cano or Pedroia - I do know that Cano hasn't been that clutch with RISP though; Since I am a Yankees fan and keep up with them.

I also picked Ellsbury to get into the AS Game. Why is he not in? I don't know.

yahoo has the situational stats for players.

As for Ellsbury, I would like to see him selected but I just dont see it happening for some reason.
