As far as Halladay goes, it's a tough call for the Jays. It's basically a lose lose if they get prospects until those prospects get to the bigs and we see if it paid off or not.
    I really wish that happens.

I doubt it though. They had their shot at Peavy and blew it. The deal was there in the Winter Meetings, but Hendry pulled out of it.

Man that would be a sick rotation. Big Z, Halladay, Lilly, Harden, Wells
How dare you insult Doc by putting him behind Zambrano in your rotation. Good god..

Heh funny because Roy Halladay pitches terrible in Anaheim.

I'll take 6 strikeouts, no walks, 3 earned runs. The Phillies could give him more than 1 run and help him get some W's

What about the 9 hits in 5 innings, you like that ratio, too?

Hes struggling right now, no way around it. He hasnt been the same pitcher since coming off the DL. I fully expect him to get his shit together, but these be the facts.

Im not denying that Roy is the best pitcher in the game, he is. I was just stating that he has indeed not been pitching very well since coming off the DL, he probably came off it too soon.

Holliday hinted @ wanting to be traded to the yankees.

Halladay, who deftly maneuvered around a barrage of questions for more than 15 minutes, said he would not mind going to the National League or a bigger market.

"I'd rather hit than face Jeter, A-Rod, Matsui and Teixeira," Halladay said.
So why not join them? :D

I wouldn't take that as the truth. Sherman only wrote that in the past, Yankees officials have been reluctant to trade big prospects for high salaried players, such as Johan. The Yankees do have an interest in Halladay, but they will not overpay. They need something to get them up to the next level over the Red Sox, but they will not add a ton more salary AND give up the top prospects for Halladay. If the Yankees can somehow find a good medium, then they will be players. If the cost for Halladay is too high, then obviously many teams will drop out, including the Yankees.

If I'm the Yankees though, I'm not worried about saving my pitching prospects in a Halladay deal.
