    Phils acquire Cliff Lee

Not Halladay, but still a good pitcher and we don't give up any of our top prospects that Toronto wanted.

I just seen this. I am beyond happy, we are getting the Cy Young winner who leads the AL in innings pitched and a nice young outfielder in Francisco. Plus we keep Happ, Drabek, Dominic Brown and Michael Taylor. What a great trade if this happens.

The Halladay deal is dead. We haven't talked to them all day, and this deal pretty much ends all of that. I'm happy we got Lee, the guy is a great pitcher.

Are you sure? I think there may be some reason why we didn't give up anybody that was involved in the Halladay trade.

Cause we didn't want to give up Drabek and Happ, and with this deal we didn't have to do that. Plus no way do we have the money to take on both Halladay and Cliff Lee.

Yeah im pretty sure they dont want to get rid of their whole farm system. They just traded 4 of their top 10 prospects according to Baseball america, why would they want to trade another 3 or 4 top ten prospects?

Really wanted the Angels to get them, can't believe the Phillies got him without giving up one of the 3 toronto wanted.

Yeah that article says the same thing. We needed a right handed batting outfielder, and it's good we did this all in one trade. Get an ace and a bat off the bench.

If any Indians fans want a run down on these prospects, I follow the Phillies system very closely and would be more than happy to tell you about them.

Last year's cy young winner. First in the AL in innings pitched this year, with a 3.14 ERA. I'd consider us the favorites with this rotation and our offense. But that's just me.

Wow...Great job by the Phillies getting Lee and Francisco (He is going to bed a damn good OF IMO) without giving up Drabek or Happ.

                              Indians suck.
