That was an awesome game, if the yanks could get these next 2 games that would be awesome and the redsox are in big trouble. We should win today with C.C. on the mound and Clay not ding good in his past starts.

Sounded ridiculous at the press conference today.
i'm not sure how saying he never took steroids(which he's repeated several times) and saying he was careless with Supplements which at the time were not banned..combine that with the fact the MLBPA said that not all the names on the list have tested positive..seems like not everything is as peachy as the New York Times tried to make it out to be.

how is he not taking his own advice. He's said from day one he hasn't taken steroids, and i know unless you work for the government you have no proof that it was actually steroids that he registered for. If Ortiz had taken steroids, i'm pretty sure he wouldn't be saying he hasn't still taken them.

Arod didnt go out and ask for the MLBPA help. Ortiz did and imo it was for the good. We learned a lot about the test that we didnt know before. Like not all of the 104 names tested positive for steroids and some players names are on more than once.

If he tested positive for a supplement, those were not illegal.

your either A not reading, or B cannot comprehend what you read.

the MLBPA has stated that not everyone on that list has tested positive, and like Celts said it could of just been a test for a supp that has been banned now, but wasn't then.

Even now it might not be be banned. From the way I interpreted what the MLBPA said. They had one test. Where players tested positive. They did another test 7 days later but told everyone if they were taking any supplements to not use them(to see if the supplements triggered false positives). If you tested positive on either test you were on the list and if you were tested positive twice(your anabolic steroid users) you were put on the list twice.

Could be wrong but that is how I interpreted the MLBPA's statement.

he scheduled the press conference for today, and found out about him testing positive through the media, just like we did.

and has the MLBPA come out and said that ORTIZ didnt test positive for steroids or just that CERTAIN PLAYERS didnt

i thought that the players were never informed, as they were just supposed to erase the files?

Weiner said Ortiz was not told anything regarding the 2003 testing
