Probable Pitching Match-Up
Detroit: Rick Porcello (14-9, 4.09) @ Minnesota: Scott Baker(15-9, 4.36)
This is it boys. There has been the Miguel Cabrera controversy, the dramatic end to the season. It all boils down to this very game. Who you got, why you got them, use this as the gameday thread.
I'll be trying to do these for the entire playoff's, so stay tuned.
I personally have the Twins. I think that they're playing very strong baseball right now, and the Tigers really don't have the mental make up. Too much controversy going on and they've slipped up one too many times. The only pitcher i have confidence in on the mound would be Verlander for the Tigers, and unfortunately he got them to this game. Porcello is 0-2 with a 6.30 ERA in the Dome, and this is also the Twins last game in that Stadium. Too much momentum for the Twinkies. Minnesota Wins 5-3.
