The Rockies aren't very good? And what exactly do you base that on?

The fact that they're the Colorado Rockies, and have 0 World Series titles.

The excuse that they were an expansion team isn't valid since they've been around like 20 years by now.

I don't think the Rockies are as good as 2 years ago but they are definitely a good team. They went like 74-24 under Tracy, that's pretty sick.

Plus they're a great home team and the Phillies tend to struggle offensively in cold temperatures.

A slight benefit to the snow out is that we can throw Happ at em and Lee on full rest. Hopefully we can end it in COL but I'm really just looking for 1 win. I'm confident in Hamels if it comes to a Game 5 in Philly.

The Rockies weren't in that game last night, seriously. That strike zone was about 5 x 5 inches big. Happ shouldn't of been in trouble early... there was a situation where he threw a 2-2 pitch to Garret Atkins and it was right there, Atkins laid off and they called it a ball. Even the announcers were talking about how they thought it was a strikeout. Another situation where Todd Helton took a 3-2 pitch down the middle, thought he struck out and then was told he got walked. idk it was kind of ridiculous last night I don't think that guy will be doing much umpiring for the rest of the playoffs

give credit where credit is due. Too say that the Rockies are not a good team is unfathomable. They are in the playoffs...with you guys...and nearly overtook the NL West when the Dodgers looked like they had it sealed up in June. Like Nahste said, they've been playing great baseball lately. Just because they don't have the "starpower" that your beloved Phillies have doesn't mean they aren't a good team.

Although I do think Hamels was likely distracted. He has looked shakey this year, but in that game he didn't seem capable of getting any rhythm.

Either way, I'm hoping that Lee ends it tonight and then they throw Hamels out there against the Dodgers. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if this went to 5.

All I know is, hurray for me being able to watch the game without having to listen at my desk secretly at work, or stay up until 2 in the fucking morning.
