Hooray. Maybe the Nationals might have at the very worst a AAA level bullpen this year. I went to like 15 games last year and no joke, the Nats had a lead in every one of them until the bullpen came in and lost.

IMO he's the better player...he can run, hit to all fields but the thought is Holliday and the park don't necessarily fit together...MH isnt a dead pull hitter...Bay is...supposedly the Mets did some analysis and found out that most of Bay's HR's woulda been out of CitiField as it was in Fenway and other parks.

All this talk of OF defense is bogus...the Mets trotted out into LF guys like Daniel Murphy, Tatis and Sheffield and those guys are WORSE than Holliday/Bay.

The Mets have made moves...they haven't been earth shattering but IMO the mets problem has always been surrounding their core with GOOD talent around them...IMO we have a core that can go against anyone but the supplementary players blow.

Blanco, Coste, Carter, Jap RP (forget his name), Escobar are the moves they've made...nothing crazy but I feel they are solid moves. Of course they need a bat AND a pitcher or two...in the NY media, they need to make a move I feel.
