Brian Matusz and Chris Tillman should be huge for them once they get fully adjusted to the big leagues. I really like Brad Bergeson as well. I really like the way their rotation is shaping up.

Also you've got Jones, Markakis, Roberts, and Wieters to bolster the lineup, and with the acquisitions of Atkins and Tejada they've got so much depth.

They obviously won't be able to compete with the Yanks or Sox in the AL East but I have a feeling they'll be noticed this year.
Still a few years away. I like the makings of their young lineup but the AL East is a brutal world. Even Toronto and Tampa will do their best to keep the O's in their place.

Everybody loves their talent though. Not sure if it will ever be enough to compete with the Yanks and Sox even when they all develop though. Because you gotta figure by that time the Yanks and Sox will have snatched up whichever free agents they want. It's a never ending cycle.

The Jays are weak as hell and are in rebuilding mode. They already have last place in the division pretty much guaranteed.

Rays have a very light rotation that doesn't look good in the division of such good batters. They've had a pretty lackluster offseason and didn't really upgrade from '09.

Doesn't matter. Not happening in the AL East for quite sometime.

It's obvious they're not going to compete in the AL East, I was just saying that they can be a surprise team and get noticed...a surprise team doesn't necessarily mean contender for the postseason.
