Most underrated player currently in baseball?

No sure if he is the most underrated but I think Franklin Gutierrez is pretty underrated. He has progressed nicely at the plate and he is probably the best defensive outfielder in baseball.

As for the question, Nick Johnson is one of the most underrated players in the league. Had a .426 OBP last year, and is really overlooked because he doesn't hit for a ton of power. When healthy of course.

Matt Capps is another pitcher that is extremely underrated. He had a career 1.058 WHIP and 142 ERA+ before 2009, and despite being bad in '09, he certainly should have been one of the top pitching FA's of this off-season, but instead no one talked about him or pursued him greatly and he ended up signing with the Nationals.

According to my fantasy team, he's never underrated.
