I get stabbed when I leave your park. It's in a ghetto, etc.

At least they are having factual arguments.

In retrospect the scariest game I ever went to was a WSox/Brewers game at Comisky back in like 1996. It was replica wooden bat day.....They were fullsized bats.. I don't remember any incidents that day but who the hell had that giveaway idea on the Southside of Chicago?

I still remember thinking Lyle Mouton was cool.

Where in Western Illinois you from?

I grew up in the Quad Cities area.
Well I guess I'm not from there, but I'm currently in Quincy. Right on the MS river. I'm sure you know us well as we are in RI, RIAHS, UTHS, MHS conference.

I went to high school there.

My mom went to UTHS and my dad to MHS.

No offense but what the hell are you doing in Quincy? That place is a hell hole.

I feel the same way. I hate it here. My dad got transferred to a plant that's across the river, but this was the best school system in the area. I hate it, I wanna transfer back haha

I'm not sold on our rotation

AJ's up and down.....you got good AJ and mental mound case AJ

I still remember Javier's failings when we had him in 04...he has to prove himself, I don't care what he did in the NL....this is the AL a much tougher league to pitch in

We don't know what the fuck we want to do with Hughes or Joba......if one of those guys get the 5th spot, who know how they'll do

Only sure guys we have are CC and Andy....and Andy's getting long in the tooth, I don't know how much longer he'll be effective...and he's good for 3 or 4 horrible starts a year

yeah I know, I'm rough on my team, but gotta keep shit real....and my opinion is soley based on not seeing any of these guys perform yet......it could change by the middle of the season if they're pitching lights out

But right now I think the Red Sox have the edge rotation wise.....

One thing i like about Javier is he is a innings eater like Sabathia.

Again, I'll warn Yankees fans. If you're happy with a good, above-average pitcher out of Javy then you're fine.

If you're expecting an ace or what he gave Atlanta...you'll be sorely disappointed. He's top notch on unsuccessful teams and struggles on good teams. How/why I have no idea. Also by looking at those numbers and this graph you'll see the past 5-6 years his performance is up and down. Again, it's always above-average, but it's frustrating because you'll see him put together what looks like ace numbers (05, 07,09), then only look good or slightly above average (04, 06, 08).

Maybe a bit Bias here, like almost everyone else here, but i'm going with the Red Sox.

I feel, if completely healthy, that our 1-5 is much better.

                            The keys are Dice-K & Buchholz/Wakefield.
