I think he was also top 5 in on base % so I really have no idea where Sandoval comes out as better. Sure, his numbers would be a little higher in Milwaukee most likely, but there is no way he's even close to 50 homers and leading the league in RBI's.
im not saying prince is a bad player, i just think sandoval is better. im saying if you put sandoval in the same position hed be in the running for mvp too, hed have a lower homerun number (prob around 32 or so), but hed have all those rbi's and a way higher obp

Prince had Corey Hart hitting behind him most of the season. Braun had much more of an advantage being in the Brewers line-up than Prince did. You have to remember Braun also ranked 6th in RBI's last season, so a lot of Prince's opportunities were actually taken away because Braun drove those runners in first. I'd like to see Sandoval get another year under his belt before I put him even close to Prince. Sandoval would be no where near MVP status being put in the same position as Prince. It's actually pretty pathetic for Sandoval to only have a .387 OBP when he hit .330 last season.

Last year, Wieters went .288/.340/.412 with 9 HR, 43 RBI, and an 86:28 K:BB ratio in roughly 100 games. Make it a full season, and we're talking almost 200 K's at the plate, 17ish HR, and 80ish RBI.

Could he be great? Sure...but he has no reason being on here for right now.
i dont think sandoval can be called a catcher at the mlb level
