The Yankees probably will pass, because they are good enough with out him, and they will just buy him next year. The Mets are serious about getting him but might need to shed some payroll to do so. Will the Mariners deal him to the division leader Rangers? Considering that they aren't in the race for the division and its a few month rental, I don't see why not. Minnesota has been rumored to have the most to offer. Phillies? I don't think you can count them out. Anyone I miss?
With Bedard coming off the DL, I'd expect someone to make a move. Who do you think it is going to be?Comment

We better be trading Cliff Lee for young bats or there is no point. I say we just keep him and try to get him to stay somehow in the offseason.Last edited by Golden Taters; 07-06-2010, 03:40 AM.Comment

Latest rumor has Lee headed to the Reds, who have a big time 1B prospect who is blocked by Votto, and a ton of other MLB ready guys in AAA.
Reds already have an embarrassing amount of starting pitching, and with Volquez coming back after the break, that's like trading for someone already. The problem, is the Reds dont have many holes aside from RHP help in the bullpen, and you don't move top filght prospects for 7th inning guys.Comment

I think the Rays are dark horses in this thing if they want to move Upton.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

At AAA this year especially .253/.291/.387
Had an okay half a year year at AA .267/.388/.406 but still not nearly the power they thought they were getting with him.Last edited by FedEx227; 07-06-2010, 09:09 AM.Comment
