Deal's done. Cardinals take Jake Westbrook, Padres get Ryan Ludwick, Indians get a prospect.
Westbrook > Suppan and Hawksworth. He should fit in nicely behind Wainwright-Carpenter-Garcia and would be the 4th or 5th starter when Penny or Lohse comes back.
Jon Jay better step up now.

Lohse is fucking done IMO, I'd be shocked if he becomes a quality starter again for us. And what's the deal with Penny, it seems like the cards don't even know.
I like the move, it makes are team a little more balanced instead of to many right handers. Were in a race with the Reds who are far from backing down, a quality 4th starter is huge for us. Hopefully, Jay can keep it up.
