when i saw the trade I was a little scared b/c of the price tag the cubs wanted I think at one point i was hearing they wanted kemp dewitt although solid is not that hard to say bye to

Agreed, but they dumped Lilly and DeWitt probably has a smidge more upside than Theriot. I think it works for both sides.
