Not Trading Adam Dunn; Gusty Gamble?

    Nothing gusty about it.

Talk around DC is that he's very willing to sign an extension with the thought of a much improved team with Strasburg, Storen, Wilson Ramos, and Harper in the fold

He's looking for a 4 year deal while the Nats are only willing to offer a 2 year deal right now.

If he got traded to the Chicago, that'd be gusty.

This move maybe had some gusto. But ultimately, it was a good move because they need money and draft picks. This way they fill the seats for 3 more months and then collect two first rounders as soon as Dunn signs with a new team.

        Win-win.

I think he will end up in the AL ultimately. Probably the two evil empires in the East, or maybe the Angels, but definitely one of the higher spending teams is snatching him up in FA. I just feel that after playing for so many mediocre and/or rebuilding clubs in Cincinnati and DC, he's gotta be anxious to join a playoff team.
