Yeah it's definitely an issue that we should've seen coming once Chip went down. I think Chipper standing up to speak at the players-only meeting last week really hammers that point home. We don't have many guys with experience playing meaningful baseball in September, so Chip is still leading this team in street clothes.
There's McCann (from 05, his rookie year), Gonzalez, Hinske, Glaus, Lee, Ankiel (if you can count him) and Melky.
Everyone else, including our 2 and 3 hole guys, are doing this for the first time.
Sadly, the 21-year old is the only one who has gotten better as the pressure has increased, everyone else is fading.
I have no idea where Eric Hinske has been either, I figure he'll get some starts this weekend with two tough RHP's going for Philly.
