Yeah of course, I was just trying to play devil's advocate, it seems like most of the media's reaction to today's game was that Tampa was in trouble.

I don't think they need to panic just yet, they can easily beat either of the next two Texas pitchers. Though I am pulling for the Rangers.

BTW, Garza is pitching Game 3, not Davis.

I want to root for the Rays because they are the anti-Yankees, but at the same time, their shitty fans don't deserve it after leaving this team out to dry all season.

I do like Cliff Lee, but he can only win 2 games, so Rays in 5.

It's not a guarantee, no, but it's going to be far easier for them to turn in good performances against the Rays paltry lineup, than it will be for Shields for and Garza against the Rangers lineup.

True. One more thought on today's game: Nellie Cruz's HR was a fucking BOMB.

              Tampa is toast.

Completely unsurprising too for anyone that really thought about it for more than 5 seconds. The only advantage the Rays had coming in to this series was their bullpen, and playoff experience.

Garza might be able to steal one back for them, but it's not going to be easy.

Yeah, forget I said anything, Tampa is done.

sidenote- Did anyone else think Ron Washington was just a little too jittery in the dugout today? He was chewing his gum like a maniac. I'm not saying he was coked out of his mind, but it looked like he was coked out of his mind.

Yeah, because nobody else in baseball chews gum.

                    Oops.

Game 5 should be great. Rays have all the momentum right now, but that could be rendered moot with Cliff Lee on the mound.

I think Price-Lee will be one hell of a matchup this go-around. David Price won't be lit up twice.
