Though he insisted in the past he was not interested in the Mariners job, Shannon Drayer is reporting that Bobby V is a candidate for the job and is actually a front-runner.
I think it is more of the Mariners making him their number one candidate and not Bobby V actually being interested. To be honest, I don't see him going to Seattle, and I definitely don't see him going to New York. Every paper I have been reading in the area always talks about Bobby V on the short list for manager. I don't think the ownership or the upcoming front office will give him as much power as he actually wants.
