What happened to this team? Used to be in the playoffs year in and year out won a couple world series but what happened? Now they are not even mentioned with the Elite teams. What should they do to get better in your opinion?

Personally I think they need to get rid of Big Papi and build around young pitching rotation.

They had a shit load of injuries this year which really hurt them. For what happened losing Youk and Dustin, not having jacoby and also losing the bat of Jason Bay, along with Beckett and Lackey having not so good years I think they did fine this year,

I give Boston a lot of credit for winning the amount of games they did despite all the injuries they had. They'll be back next year.
