Adam Wainwright, you know, the guy who choked against the Pirates and other shitty teams as the pirates blew it in August/September.

Gold Gloves as They Should Have Been
                November 16, 2010

Contrary to what some might think, I agree with most of the Gold Glove awards. However, there are a few that I take exception to. Let's compare the Gold Glove winners to the Fielding Bible Awards voting.

Good little article defending or disagree with the Gold Glove award winners.

Surprised Maddon didn't win it, but both are deserving.

Those were my two picks. Gardy deserved it after losing Morneau and still putting together such a good season.

Sucks his teams can never do anything in the playoffs though.

I agree, although that could have been posted after Halladay winning as well. Both were the clear-cut choices, IMO.

Yeah, but they had much more room to go full retard and vote CC based off wins.

Meh, I guess. I can't say I have a huge problem with the choice. The lack of wins were not his fault, and the rest of his stat line was ridiculous. But I think there something to be said for CC and Price who started games down the stretch in the midst of a tense pennant race. The Cy Young is pretty much like an MVP for pitchers. If you take Felix away from Mariners, they go from horrible to putrid. You can make a case for maybe Price more then CC, that if you take them off their respective staffs, they are most likely just outside the pennant race.
