    Heard it on Mike and Mike this morning. That's a shame, I know he was indentified with Cubs baseball like Harry Kalas did with the Phillies for us. It sucks, baseball hasn't been the same here since.

      It's going to be way different listening to the Cubs on the radio now. I can remember driving and listening to them, and listening to Ronnie's voice. He was the happiest man on the earth when they were doing good. He was also so dipleased when they were doing bad.

      I'm gonna miss you Ron!

        I remember coming home from an Orioles game this summer and turned on a Stros-Cubs game where the Cubs blew the game in the 9th I think. Was with my Dad who told me he was a great player, terrible announcer. His complete homer technique of announcing including groaning after a bad pitch, was so bad it was truly funny.
