LOL thats great.
New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman invoked the name of the most famous retirement waffler in a conversation with free-agent pitcher Andy Pettitte, New Jersey's The Trentonian reported Tuesday.
“(Pettitte is) opting not to play right now, but that might change, it might not. I told him, 'Don’t Brett Favre us',” Cashman said.
“You got to be all in and fully dedicated to play. Do I need him? I need him, but I don’t want him to play if his heart’s not in it,” Cashman added.
Pettitte has been home in Texas mulling a decision whether to retire or return to a Yankees rotation that currently lacks depth.
