How can his power be overrated when nobody even thinks he'll be a great power hitter? He's always been projected as more of a line drive hitter, but he did hit 18 HR in 520 minor league ABs last year. As for his average being an aberration, he has a career .301 BA in four minor league seasons and hit .316 two seasons ago.

If he ends up anywhere near as productive as Todd Helton, I'll be ecstatic. Helton had five straight seasons over 1.000 OPS and seven straight over .950. Six 30+ HR seasons, two 40+ HR seasons. Pretty sure that's a great thing for any player to aspire towards.

HATE to say it but the Brewers have sold thier soul for a playoff run this year lol!

That should make the tailgating that much more interesting this year though!

This is the most winnable NL Central in quite some time though so I think it's a good idea for them. Honestly, I wasn't that fond of their farm system anyway and if by midseason they are falling out of contention they can try and swing Fielder for some restocking.
