No mention of performance-enhancing drugs ANYWHERE in the article? Wow.

Eh, we'll just trade the farm for King Felix in July. :smug2:

Seriously, if we were banking on Andy Pettitte to save our season, we were fucked anyway

Good to know your offseason revolved around another team.

I think they knew. Freddy Garcia, Bartolo Colon... how many other guys will be brought in to compete for #5 (assuming Nova is #4)?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cervelli or another young catcher (not Montero; Yanks are stocked big time at C) packaged in a trade for a legit #3 guy.

I'm pretty sure my statement was indicating the opposite of that.

I guess no longer being able to rely on steroids to extend your career really puts a damper on things.

This doesn't mean anything. They're still the Yankees. They still are one of the best teams in baseball with one of the best front offices in any sport.

Wait did i say Front office? I mean wallet.

                      Fuck the Yankees.

Buster Olney on ESPN just declared Andy Pettite to be the greatest #3 starter in MLB history! Proving once again that ESPN only covers the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. I cannot even fathom why someone would even make such a statement, much less attach it to a do-good roid-head like Pettite.

m not a Pettitte hater or lover, but my question exactly. Why is he getting a free pass on the whole roid thing.
