    Posada's a Cry Baby

This guy should have retired two seasons ago. Everyone thought with him at DH only this season he'd be fine. The guy is just in about last place in avg, ops, slug, For those of you that dont know the story. Posada was dropped in the lineup and took himself out of the game.

Jorge Posada claimed he asked out of Saturday's lineup because of a back injury and not because he was upset about being asked to bat ninth.
We're not buying this story for a second. Earlier in the night, GM Brian Cashman clearly said that Posada was not hurt and reports from the YES Network suggest that the struggling veteran "threw a hissy fit" in Girardi's office before the game over his demotion. Now both sides are doing damage control. With Posada making $13.1 million this year, he's not going to retire and the Yankees will give him some rope.

He didn't pull out over the back. Posada and Girardi talked of it being a day off mentally.

But the situation does look like it will get worse.

Posada should have retired once they started testing for performance enhancing substances.

Why in the world should he have retired in 2005?

They should be. Jeter's been going back and forth with them for the past year and the latest salvo is him acting like Posada wasn't in the wrong for what he did.

I love Jeter as much as the next Yankee fan and I know that's his boy, but that's flat out wrong.

He's still a bitch for crying after being dropped in the lineup. You are hitting .165, you're lucky to even be in the starting lineup.

The only thing I'll give him credit for is owning up and admitting he acted out and apologizing.

They should've let him go this winter when he wanted to be paid about 50 times what he's actually worth.

Because he's just one more Yankee on the juice. Respect the game.

The reports now is he wanted to leave the team Saturday, he cried when they told him he wasnt going to be the starting catcher anymore and just a DH.

Jorge better start to wake up and realize the hard truth, he's 40 and just not good anymore. Who the hell would take him. The Yankees are going to have to open a roster spot soon if he isnt producing.
