Let's see how much Rendon falls...teams now maybe trying to get these pitchers at this rate.

Frankie Piliere: Ok this is potentially big. Mets might get a shot at Rendon and would take him if Washington doesn't take him

Nice to see the Royals get Starling. Great speed/power potential.

Anyone have a projection on the Baez kid that the Cubs drafted? Current MLB comparable etc...

Surprised to see the Mets go with an 18-year old OF prospect. A big upside kind of player with all the tools, hopefully he can develop in the system.

Their supplemental pick was a relief pitcher said to have one of the best curveballs in the draft, nice.

Surprised Rendon fell to the Nats, but I guess his med issues had the other teams concerned. If he grows into what most believe he could be, Nats got themselves a good bat.

The Brewers drafted Trent Boras today. He's the son of agent Scott Boras.

check here...his HS coach compared him to Hanley...

that's pretty high prraise but i don't think he'd be that good. He likely will move off of SS, likely to 3B/2B I'd say. If I were to compare him to someone, possibly a Placido Polanco type...

Don't really have a comparison for him right now. But he is one of the most complete prospects with potential and skill set for the future.
Compared to Hanley ... Moved to 3B ... Sounds like Edward Salcedo to me. If you're wondering, Salcedo already has 20 errors on the year at single-A Rome. I guess I can see the HanRam comparisons.
