SF Giants Showtime Documentary Premieres Wednesday

The hour-long premiere is set for tomorrow at 10pm on Showtime. Not sure how many episodes they have, but I'll presume it will run through the summer. I'm hoping it does well so Showtime can do it on a yearly basis with a new franchise.

From what I remember, they had cameras with them from spring training through the end of the first half.

    Looks fun.

To me this is more interesting then Hard Knocks, because baseball>football and i'm a faggot. I don't get showtime, but I'll be watching online shortly after.

Is this following them during their WS season or the currents season?

I could never get into Hard Knocks, and I doubt I will be into this.

Hard Knocks is kinda boring. I don't know, I guess I just don't really give a fuck about what Tim Lincecum does on his day off. If it was the Reds i'd probably be into it, though.

Everyone around here is stoked for this.

I will have to DL it since I don't get SHO.

I'll check it out, I already know what to expect from the characters but I'm interested to see if Showtime's production value can match Hard Knocks.

Every year I find every second of Hard Knocks to be compelling stuff, mainly due to NFL Films and HBO's amazing production work. Will be interesting to see if Showtime can capture that same feel.

The Hard Knocks theme song alone is enough to make me watch the show. I get excited every time I hear it.

Even the short HBO documentary series hyping the New Year's Classics was awesome.

HBO Sports does amazing work with those types of series'.

Every documentary HBO does is good, never seen one for showtime but if it's like hard knocks i'll watch it why not.

I'm not huge into hockey, but that got me wanting to see more and more hockey.

I'm watching it right now, the scene where they sent Brandon Belt down to AAA was super awkward. Also, Matt Cain has an ugly fucking truck.

I watched it at like 2am last night while laying in bed.

Matt Cain is an ugly dude with a smushed face who has the typical blonde trophy wife. His truck is ugly, and they live in a shitty looking townhouse (which im sure is pricey, but it still looks shitty).

Bruce Bochy talks like the manager from Major League. Barry Zito might be gay (not that there's anything wrong with that).

After the first show they are already at the All Star break. Weird.
