I watched it at like 2am last night while laying in bed.

Matt Cain is an ugly dude with a smushed face who has the typical blonde trophy wife. His truck is ugly, and they live in a shitty looking townhouse (which im sure is pricey, but it still looks shitty).

Bruce Bochy talks like the manager from Major League. Barry Zito might be gay (not that there's anything wrong with that).

After the first show they are already at the All Star break. Weird.

And they spent at least a quarter of the episode throwing Vogelsong's story at you.

Yeah it was all Vogelsong, Zito and the reliever. I don't think Lincecum was mentioned at all, which is weird; he being the Giants biggest star and all.

Showtime probably said no drugs what-so-ever on the show, that would pretty much eliminate Timmy. LOL.

Definitely something missing from the series right now. Episode 2 was much of the same storylines of the first (Zito hanging on, Vogelsong's emergence, Wilson's zany self, Panda's hard work in getting in shape...throw in a few scenes at the All Star Game and that's all of episode 2).

Looks like the rest of the episodes will be shot on the fly (maybe a week delay from when they happen to when they air), so hopefully they find some new stories to tell.

I'm done with the show, maybe I'll catch replays when I'm flipping.

There's no real overriding theme to the episodes and the silly use of the sports talk voice takes away from the scenes way too much.

A shame. Showtime bungled this...too bad HBO couldn't get a piece of it.

Local sports radio hosts have pretty much said the same thing, giving it a C rating.
