December 9, 1965: Frank Robinson traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Baltimore Orioles for Jack Baldschun, Milt Pappas and Dick Simpson
Pappas, the centerpiece of the package, won over 200 games but only went 30-29 with the Reds over parts of three seasons.
Bauldschun, a RP, went 1-5 with an ERA over 5.00 in two seasons.
Simpson, a young RF prospect, never panned out and had a total of 161 plate appearances for the Reds with 5 HR's. He finished his career with a .207 avg.Comment
